If you have lost your dog, please contact us as well as the sheriff's department at (304) 358-2214.  If they pick up any stray animals, they can take them to Grant County Pound to be euthanized in five days.  Always try to keep a tag on your pet just in case they get loose...this will increase the chance that they will come back home.

Posting notices with a picture of the pet in local businesses and visible areas can help to find a lost pet. Ask your vet to microchip your pet. Pets that have been microchipped can always find their way home, even if they lose their collar!
